Dedicated to the lasting memory of Peter Jeffrey Grimster, a loving and much loved Husband, Dad and Grandad. He is greatly missed and will never be forgotten.
Peter was a truly exceptional man. He was dearly loved by his family and friends, and became part of the family to many others who got to know him through his work as an outstanding plumbing and heating tradesman. He was one of the very best.
Peter, known affectionately as “Pete” to many, was a dedicated, hardworking, self-made family man and husband to the love of his life and wife of 48 years, Ruth, Dad to his daughter and son Helen and Steven, Father-in-Law to Tom and Emma, and Grandad to his three granddaughters Ellie, Rosie and Jessica. He was very proud of them and all their achievements. As they all were of him; he was and will remain a true inspiration each and every day.
Peter had a terrific sense of humour and a cracking smile; he loved the banter in the trade and with his many customers. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Peter, a selfless and humble gent who always put the interests of others first. He was greatly admired and respected by all that met him, a legacy that will continue to live on.
The cherished, loving memories of Peter will long remain with his dear family and friends. His life was one well-lived and well-loved. He will forever be loved and fondly remembered by all those whose lives he touched ❤️
